BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED: Whisper Point/ Dahlonega Hwy

Oct. 28 UPDATE: The boil water advisory that was put in place for a leaking valve on Oct. 27 has been lifted. Water quality tests have been completed and indicate the water is safe for consumption without boiling for all impacted customers


Oct. 27: Due to a leaking valve, water has been shut off to customers at Whisper Point S/D off Dahlonega Hwy. A boil water advisory has been put in place for customers on the following roads:

  • Echos Cv
  • Hemlock Cir
  • Hidden Valley Ln
  • Meridian Pass
  • Mirror Lake Dr
  • Stafford Pl
  • Whisper Ct
  • Whisper Point Blvd
  • 4910, 4860, 4870 Daholenga Hwy

Crews are onsite and working to restore water service in this area as quickly as possible. Those impacted by the outage should boil water before drinking, cooking, or preparing baby food until the boil water advisory is lifted. The water should be boiled for at least one full minute after reaching a full boil. This boil water advisory is in effect unless notified otherwise by the Forsyth County Department of Water & Sewer.
