Voting on Election Day, July 15, in the Statewide Democratic Special Primary Runoff for Georgia Public Service Commission District 3
Forsyth County registered voters casting their ballot on Election Day for the upcoming July 15 statewide Democratic Special Primary Runoff for Georgia Public Service Commission District 3 will do so at one polling place.
On Election Day, Tuesday, July 15, eligible Forsyth County voters will go to the Cumming Recreation & Parks Department Event Center (437 Pilgrim Mill Road) to cast their ballot. This polling place will be open for voting on Election Day, Tuesday, July 15, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Pursuant to Georgia election code O.C.G.A. 21-2-270, which allows counties that had less than 1% of the total registered voters participate in the June Democratic Special Primary the option to change Election Day polling places, Forsyth County will open only one polling place on Election Day. This change in Election Day polling place is ONLY in effect for the Runoff. Voters will return to voting at their assigned Election Day polling place for the November 2025 elections.

Runoff Voter Eligibility
In addition to being a registered voter in Forsyth County by the May 19, 2025, voter registration deadline, a voter’s eligibility to vote in this Special Primary Runoff is also dependent on their voting choice in the June 17 Special Primary.

- Voters who did not vote in the June 17 Special Primary.
- Who IS NOT eligible to vote in the Democratic Special Primary Runoff?
- Voters who voted a Republican ballot type in the June 17 Special Primary.
Absentee Voting by Mail
For voters who have requested an absentee by mail ballot, voted absentee ballots must be received by the Voter Registrations & Elections Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. The postmark date does NOT count.
