Forsyth County Board of Commissioners Elects Officers for 2021
During their first meeting of the yearon Jan. 7, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners elected officers for 2021.
District 4 Commissioner Cindy JonesMills was elected to serve as chairman; District 1 Commissioner Molly Cooperwas elected to serve as vice chairman; and District 2 Commissioner Alfred Johnwill serve as secretary.
The Board of Commissioners is made up offive members, each living in a specific district and elected by their districtto serve four-year terms. Each year in January, the five members elect officersfor the coming year.
