Forsyth County Board of Commissioners Elects Officers for 2018
During their first meeting of the year on January 4, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners elected officers for 2018. District 3 Commissioner Todd Levent was elected to serve his second year as chairman; District 5 Commissioner Laura Semanson was elected to continue serving as vice chairman; and District 2 Commissioner Dennis Brown will continue to serve as secretary.
The Board of Commissioners is made up of five members, each living in a specific district and elected by their district to serve four-year terms. Each year in January, the five members elect officers for the coming year.
