Forsyth County Board of Commissioners Elects Officers for 2019
Duringtheir first meeting of the year on January 4, the Forsyth County Board ofCommissioners elected officers for 2019. District 5 Commissioner Laura Semansonwas elected to serve as chairman; District 4 Commissioner Cindy Jones Mills waselected to serve as vice chairman; and District 2 Commissioner Dennis Brown willserve as secretary.
TheBoard of Commissioners is made up of five members, each living in a specificdistrict and elected by their district to serve four-year terms. Each year in January, the five members elect officers forthe coming year.
