Brad Wright Named Interim Director of Water & Sewer

Brad Wright has been appointed to serve as interim Water & Sewer director effective April 10, following the appointment of Barry Lucas to Assistant County Manager.

“We are confident that Brad will lead the department well during the interim until a new Water & Sewer Department director is named,” said County Manager David McKee. “His work reflects his commitment to ensuring Forsyth County continues to provide the highest quality water and sewer services.”

Wright has served as the Deputy Director of Business Services for the Water & Sewer department since July 2020. In this role, he oversees all work related to finances, billing and collections, budgeting and reporting, customer service and meter services for the department.

During his time with the County, Wright said he has witnessed firsthand how the County’s Water & Sewer Department delivers the highest quality water and sewer services through multiple treatment facilities and the Engineering, Maintenance and Business Services divisions.

Wright has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Management from Southeast Missouri State University and a master’s degree in Accountancy from Southern Illinois University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

The interim position will remain in effect until a new director is hired and in-office.
