UPDATE: Precautionary Boil Water Advisories LIFTED

Two Separate Precautionary Boil Water Advisories Issued

The Forsyth County Department of Water & Sewer experienced two water outages today (Thursday, August 14) due to leaks that developed on water mains. Customers reported low or no water pressure in localized areas near:

- Intersection of Keith Bridge Road and Grindle Road

- Along Old Atlanta Road in the vicinity of Chattahoochee Pointe Park

Water service is being restored, and a precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for the affected areas.

Customers can use the link below to access a county map to see the boil water advisory areas (shaded red) and to enter their street address to see if they are within the affected area.

Customers within the boil water advisory areas should boil water before drinking, cooking or preparing baby food. The water should be boiled for at least one full minute after reaching a full boil.

Continue to boil your water for 48 hours, unless notified otherwise by the Forsyth County Department of Water & Sewer or if your area is no longer shown on the Boil Water Advisory web page.

For additional information regarding this boil water notification, contact Forsyth County Department of Water & Sewer at (770) 781-2160.
