Recycle Paint and Electronics November 3
Bi-annual recycling event to be held at the Cumming Fairgrounds

Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) invites residents to participate in their upcoming paint and electronics recycling event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Cumming Fairgrounds, parking lot 3, off Castleberry Road. 

Accepted items for the electronics recycling event include desktop computers, laptops, printers, stereos, CD players, cell phones, gaming consoles and controllers, and more. A minimum donation of $5 per carload is requested.  An additional $20 fee will apply for each television and an additional $10 fee will apply for each computer monitor. Please note that only cash payments will be accepted. 

Latex and oil-based paints in their original containers will also be accepted. The cost to dispose of latex or oil paint is $13 for a 5-gallon bucket, $5 for a 2-gallon bucket, $3 for a 1-gallon can and $1 for a 1-quart can or smaller. The cost is $1 for any type of spray can. 

Some items, such as large wooden console televisions, projector televisions, toaster ovens and refrigerators, will not be accepted during the event.
