Public Hearing Regarding Land Disturbance Permit Applications on Properties Zoned Res 6, Res 4 and Res 3

At 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2020, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing to consider a moratorium barring the acceptance of land disturbance permit applications for multifamily and single family attached developments on properties zoned Res 6, Res 4, and Res 3.  

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated Resolution Declaring a Local Emergency approved by the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners on March 19, 2020, the Thursday April 2, 2020 Board of Commissioner’s meeting will be held via streaming audio and video, as authorized by O.C.G.A. 50-14-1(g). The meeting will be streamed online for real time viewing at www.forsythco.com. At that time, you will be placed on hold until such time as you are prompted to speak. The purpose of the public hearing shall be for public review and comment concerning a moratorium barring until September 4, 2020, the acceptance of land disturbance permit applications for multifamily and single family attached developments on properties zoned Res 6, Res 4, and Res 3. All Forsyth County residents and any other affected and/or interested persons are invited and encouraged to participate and offer comment using the above methodology.
