Public Hearing Regarding Extension of Moratorium on Land Disturbance Permit Applications for Res6 and Res4

At 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, the Forsyth CountyBoard of Commissioners will hold a public hearing to consider the extensionand/or enactment of a proposed moratorium barring the acceptance of landdisturbance permit applications on properties zoned Res6 and Res4.

The public hearing will be held in the Commissioners’Meeting Room, Suite 220, of the Forsyth County Administration Building (110East Main Street). The purpose of the public hearing shall be for public reviewand comment concerning a proposed moratorium barring the acceptance of landdisturbance permit applications on properties zoned Res6 and Res4. Themoratorium may be enacted for the Board of Commissioners to consider modifyingthe Forsyth County Unified Development Code to require that Res4 and Res6developments comply with certain recently enacted architectural designstandards. All Forsyth County residents and any other affected and/orinterested persons are invited and encouraged to attend.
