Polls Open November 2 for Special Election and City of Cumming Municipal General Election

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2, for the Special Election and City of Cumming Municipal General Election.

The Nov. 2 elections include:

  • A countywide Special Election for the Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (E-SPLOST) referendum. All residents registered to vote in Forsyth County by the October 4, 2021 voter registration deadline are eligible to vote in the Special Election.

  • A City of Cumming Municipal General Election will be held for the office of Mayor and two City Council seats. Only voters who reside in the city limits of Cumming and who were registered to vote by the October 4, 2021 voter registration deadline are eligible to vote.

Voters must go to their designated polling place to vote on Election Day. Various precinct and polling places have changed for the 2021 election cycle so please verify your Election Day polling place at mvp.sos.ga.gov prior to voting. For all in-person voting, remember to bring one of the six acceptable forms of photo identification. Please note there is no voting of any kind the Monday prior to any election.
