Advance Voting Underway for November 7 House District 26 Special Election and City of Cumming General Election

Two elections will be held in Forsyth County on November 7 – a Special Election to fill the vacancy in Georgia House District 26 and the City of Cumming’s Municipal General Election.

Only voters who reside in the City of Cumming are eligible to vote in the city’s Municipal General Election.

Only voters who reside in Georgia House District 26 are eligible to vote in the Special Election. In Forsyth County, Georgia House District 26 encompasses:

  • All of the Browns Bridge precinct

  • All of the Chestatee precinct

  • All of the Crossroads precinct

  • Portions of the Coal Mountain precinct

  • Portions of the Mashburn precinct

  • Portions of the Otwell precinct

  • Portions of the South Forsyth precinct

  • Portions of the Windermere precinct

  • Portions of the Concord precinct

Advance Voting will be available beginning Monday, October 16.

Advance Voting for City of Cumming’s Municipal General Election Only

Cumming City Hall, 100 Main Street, Cumming, Georgia 30040

  • Weekdays October 16-November 3, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Advance Voting for House District 26 Special Election Only

Forsyth County Administration Building, 110 E. Main Street, Cumming, GA 30040

  • Weekdays October 16-November 3, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Saturday, October 28, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hampton Park Library, 5345 Settingdown Road, Cumming, Georgia 30041

  • Saturday, October 28, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Weekdays October 30-November 3, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please note there is no voting of any kind the Monday prior to any election.
