Forsyth County To Hold State Of The County Address April 19

Forsyth County Board of Commissioners and other members of Forsyth County government will reflect on the past year’s accomplishments and take a look ahead at key priorities for moving Forsyth County forward at the annual State of the County event on Tuesday, April 19, at 10:30 a.m. at the Forsyth Conference Center (3410 Ronald Reagan Blvd.).

“I am excited to highlight the depth and breadth of Forsyth County and all we have worked to accomplish in 2021,” said Board of Commissioners Chairman Alfred John. “I also look forward to expanding on all that 2022 will bring into fruition for the residents of this great County.”

Those interested in attending the event may do so either in person or virtually. In-person pre-registration is required and can be done on the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce website or on the State of the County homepage. Those who wish to attend virtually can sign on to FoCoStateoftheCounty.com at noon to see a livestream of the address or watch on TV Forsyth through Comcast channel 23, AT&T channel 99 or at forsythco.com.

“Forsyth County is continuing to lead the state in many areas,” said County Manager Kevin Tanner. “We hope to show the residents of this County all we have done and continue to do to make this the best place to live, work and play.”
