Forsyth County EMA and 911 Center Launch Official Facebook Page

Forsyth County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) and 911 Center now have a Facebook account to reach residents with emergency and weather alerts, emergency and disaster preparedness tips, helpful information, department news and more.

“We are excited to add this new way of connecting with residents as we aim to prepare and protect the citizens of Forsyth County,” said EMA and 911 Center Director Tom Cisco. “We invite all residents to follow our page for alerts as well as helpful how-to videos, interactive discussions and behind-the-scenes looks at the important work of our EMA and 911 Center teams.”

The Facebook account, @ForsythCountyEMA911, which can be found here, is maintained by Forsyth County EMA and Forsyth County Department of Communications. Please note that public is asked to dial 911 in emergency situations and not report emergencies or ask for assistance on the Facebook page. Also, emergency and weather alerts will continue to be issued via forsythco.com and the County’s social media channels.
