Forsyth County Calling for Bids on Two Properties
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed bids until 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, for two pieces of property.
- 785 Old Alpharetta Road: 1.25 acres currently zoned Restricted Industrial District (M1)
- 7305 Lanier Drive: 2.801 acres currently zoned Agricultural (A1) District
Bids will be opened at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, with an award of the bid to be made at a later date.
The Board will accept the fair market value, as determined by appraisals, as the minimum bids for each property. The properties will be sold to the highest responsible and responsive bidder.
All bidders must include $10,000 with their bid as earnest money to be credited toward the purchase price at closing. Unsuccessful bidders will receive a full refund of their earnest money deposit.
Earnest money deposits can in the form of a cashier’s check made payable to the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners. Cash deposits will not be accepted.

Open House
An open house at 7305 Lanier Drive will be held on Sept. 28 from 12-3 p.m.
