Forsyth County Adds Twitter Account
Forsyth County government is now on Twitter providing the county an additional way to send out communications and updates regarding Forsyth County government news, programs and activities.

“Twitter is the first of several planned additions to Forsyth County communications outlets in 2019,” said Director of Communications Karen Shields. “The county is excited to provide an additional platform for residents, businesses and others to engage with Forsyth County government and stay informed about what is happening in our community. We invite everyone to follow us on Twitter @forsythcogov and on Facebook @ForsythCountyGovernment to stay informed of the latest news from the county,”

The Forsyth County government Twitter account should not be utilized to report emergency information or to ask for assistance. For emergency situations, dial 911. For non-emergency information, Forsyth County can be reached during business hours at 770-781-2101 and at forsythco.com. The page will be monitored during normal county business hours. The county’s Social Media Acceptable Usage Policy is available forsythco.com.

In addition to Facebook and Twitter, residents can find information about the county government on the Forsyth County website at forsythco.com and on TV Forsyth, Forsyth County’s 24-hour government cable channel broadcast on Comcast channel 23 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99.
