Flags Flying at Half-Staff in Honor of Forsyth County Deputy Sheriff Spencer Englett
As a mark of respect for Forsyth County Deputy Sheriff IISpencer Englett, flags at all public buildings and grounds are flying athalf-staff. Deputy Englett suffered a traumatic medical event and died duringtraining at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center-Pickens Law EnforcementBasic Academy.
Deputy Englett, Badge #3005, began his law enforcementcareer with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office on May 1, 2017. He previouslyworked for the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. He was an exemplary deputy whoserved Forsyth County with distinction and honor. Deputy Englett was 29 yearsold and was recently married.
