 Forsyth County Response to COVID-19

The July 7, 6:30 p.m. Forsyth County Zoning Board of Appeals Work Session and 7:00 p.m. Regular Meeting/ Public Hearing shall be both in person and via teleconference pursuant to O.C.G.A. 50-14-1(g). The public notice listing the location and agenda for the Work Session is here, and public notice and agenda for the Regular Meeting/Public Hearing public hearing is here.


The public may physically attend these meetings. However due to COVID 19 concerns, remote viewing and participation is encouraged. Viewers may watch the Regular Meeting/Public Hearing on the County’s website: forsythco.com, as well as TV Forsyth, Comcast channel 23 and AT&T channel 99.  Both the Work Session and Regular Meeting/Public Hearing may be viewed on the Zoom app. Click here to access the Zoom link for remote watching. A report on the fiscal impact of the proposed city of Sharon Springs was distributed to the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners at their December 22, 2015 work session. The report was commissioned by the board earlier this year and was completed by the Center for Economic Development Research at Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute.
