Forsyth County Response to COVID-19

The Forsyth County Board of Voter Registrations and Elections will hold their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., via teleconference pursuant to O.C.G.A.  50-14-1(g).  The meeting will be livestreamed on the County’s website and on TV Forsyth, Comcast channel 23 and AT&T channel 99.  For more information, click here.

The Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department will host two drop-in community input meetings for residents to provide feedback on amenities that will be offered at the future Matt Community Park Recreation Center. In addition, an online survey will also be available through March 24. The meetings will be hosted on:

Monday, March 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Sawnee Mountain Park Community Building (3995 Watson Road)

Tuesday, March 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Coal Mountain Park Community Building (3560 Settingdown Road)

“We encourage all residents to attend one of the meetings or complete the online survey to engage in the recreation center design process for the Matt Community Park Recreation Center,” said Director of Parks & Recreation Jim Pryor.

Staff, as well as consultants, will be on hand to answer questions.
