Forsyth County Response to COVID-19

The July 7, 6:30 p.m. Forsyth County Zoning Board of Appeals Work Session and 7:00 p.m. Regular Meeting/ Public Hearing shall be both in person and via teleconference pursuant to O.C.G.A. 50-14-1(g). The public may physically attend these meetings. However due to COVID 19 concerns, remote viewing and participation is encouraged. Viewers may watch the Regular Meeting/Public Hearing on the County’s website:, as well as TV Forsyth, Comcast channel 23 and AT&T channel 99.  Both the Work Session and Regular Meeting/Public Hearing may be viewed on the Zoom app. Click here to access the Zoom link for remote watching. Advance Voting for the May 24 General Primary and NonPartisan General Election will be offered weekdays for three weeks, May 2-20, and Saturday, May 14.

Forsyth County registered voters may cast their ballot during Advance Voting at one of five locations during the hours listed below:

Weekdays May 2-13, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday, May 14 and the Week Before Election Day (May 16-20), from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Advance Voting Hours for the County Administration Building located at 110 E. Main Street, Cumming, Georgia 30040 are different from the other four locations listed above and are as follows: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on all dates listed above.

Please note there is no voting of any kind the Monday prior to any election.
