UPDATE: Portions of Big Creek Greenway Closed Due to Storm Damage Now Open

Nov. 4, 2020: The Big Creek Greenway is now openfollowing storm damage caused by Tropical Storm Zeta.

The following portions of the greenway are closed due toplanned renovation projects:

-         The greenway between McFarland Pkwy. and UnionHill Road

-         Fowler Park Trailhead (4110 Carolene Way)

Nov. 2, 2020: A portion of the Big Creek GreenwayTrail, between Hwy. 9 and Kelly Mill Road, is now open following storm damagecaused by Tropical Storm Zeta. The Bethelview Road Trailhead (5120 BethelviewRoad) is also now open.

The following portions of the greenway/trailheads remainclosed:

-         The greenway between Union Hill Road and Hwy. 9

-         The greenway between McFarland Pkwy. and UnionHill Road (closed for a scheduled renovation project)

-         Union Hill Road Trailhead (5259 Union Hill Road)

-         Fowler Park Trailhead (4110 Carolene Way)

Updates will be provided as available on the County’s homepageand social media channels.

Oct. 29, 2020: Due to recent storm damage fromTropical Storm Zeta, the full length of the Big Creek Greenway is closed untilfurther notice.
