Two Eagle Scouts Recognized by Board of Commissioners
At a Dec. 4 regular meeting, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners recognized the accomplishments of Prisha Kokane and Tarania Ramesh, who both recently earned the Eagle Scout rank, the highest ranking attainable in the Boy Scouts of America program.
Kokane’s Eagle Scout Project consisted of building a flagpole ring, mulching and planting flowers at the entrance of a Furkids animal shelter to welcome future pet adopters.
Ramesh’s Eagle Scout Project consisted of building 10 benches for the Humane Society of Forsyth County to provide potential adopters a place to sit and get to know their future pets.
Prisha Kokane attended the meeting to receive her recognition from the Board.
The Board congratulates the Scouts on their outstanding achievements and thanks them for the many hours dedicated to serving the community.
