SR 369/400 Traffic Pacing and Pattern Change Planned Oct. 23

As work continues to widen the SR 369/400 interchange bridge, drivers in the area are advised to expect delays on SR 400 northbound and a traffic pattern change on SR 369 eastbound from approximately 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23, weather permitting.

Contractors are set to install six new bridge beams across SR 400 northbound. This will require intermittent traffic pacing on SR 400 northbound beginning near Exit 16 (Pilgrim Mill Road), extending approximately two miles north on SR 400 to just north of the new Exit 18 SR 369 bridge.

Also, to provide room for parking trucks and carrying bridge beams, traffic on the new SR 369 bridge will shift during this time. The SR 369 bridge center lane will be used as the main lane for eastbound traffic, while the westbound traffic pattern will remain unchanged.

Please avoid the area, if possible, during this time. If that is not possible, please slow down and stay alert.

Thank you for your patience as crews continue the progress of the 369 widening.
