Public Hearing January 7 Regarding Items Aimed at Addressing Growth Issues in the County

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 5 p.m. regarding the items set forth in a December 14, 2015 Resolution of the board aimed at addressing growth issues in the county, to include possible dissolution of the Forsyth County Planning Commission, possible creation of five sub area Planning Commissions, staggered issuance of building permits for certain residential zonings, a roadway beautification initiative, and erection of community-identification signage. The Board seeks public input regarding the Resolution.

The public hearing will be held in the Forsyth County Administration Building (Suite 220), located at 110 E. Main Street in Cumming. All citizens and residents are invited and encouraged to attend.
