Forsyth County Water and Sewer Department 2016 Water Quality Report Now Available

Report details water quality in 2015

Beginning this month, the Forsyth County Water and Sewer Department will be mailing the 2016 Water Quality Report to county water and sewer customers with their paper bills. For those who have chosen paperless billing, the report is viewable on the Water and Sewer Department webpage and printed copies can be picked up in the Water and Sewer Department offices in the County Administration Building, located at 110 E. Main Street in Cumming, Suite 150. Reports can also be mailed upon request by calling (770) 781-2160.

The report provides information from 2015 on where the county’s water comes from, what it contains and how it compares to standards set by the regulatory agencies. Forsyth County’s water met all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state drinking water health standards in 2015.

“We are pleased to present this annual Water Quality Report to our nearly 56,000 customers,” Director of Water and Sewer Tim Perkins said. “The Water and Sewer Department takes a great deal of pride in providing Forsyth County the highest quality of water and sewer service.”

For questions, please contact the Water and Sewer Department at (770) 781-2160 or visit the Water and Sewer Department webpage
