Forsyth County Parks & Recreation’s Old Atlanta Park Splash Pad to Open May 25

Splash Padwill be open on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day

 

Forsyth County’s popular SplashPad, located at Old Atlanta Park, will open for the season beginning Saturday,May 25, and will remain open through Sept. 2. Hours of operation for the SplashPad are:

 

-      May25 - July 31: Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

-      Aug.1 - Sept. 2: Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and Saturdays from 10a.m. to 7 p.m.

 

Daily admission for thespray pad is $2 per person (1-year-old and up); cash or check only. Adultsentering with a paying child are free as long as they remain on the dry deck.Annual individual passes are available for $30, and annual family passes areavailable for $60.

 

The Splash Pad is availablefor private rentals on Sundays only from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.and 4 to 6 p.m. A two-hour private rental is $200 and includes exclusive use ofthe Splash Pad and adjacent pavilion for a maximum of 100 participants.

 

Old Atlanta Park is locatedat 810 Nichols Road in southeast Forsyth County. In addition to the Splash Pad,Old Atlanta Park features a playground, two pavilions, a 1-mile walking trailand a recreation center. For more information, visit parks.forsythco.com orcall (770) 205-4646.
