Forsyth County Parks & Recreation’s Old Atlanta Park Splash Pad to Open June 5

Splash Padwill be open through Sept. 7

 

Forsyth County’s popular SplashPad, located at Old Atlanta Park (810 Nichols Road), will open for the seasonbeginning Friday, June 5, and will remain open through Sept. 7. Hours ofoperation for the Splash Pad are:

 

-       June5 – Aug. 5: Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (includingIndependence Day)

-       Aug.6 - Sept. 7: Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and Saturdays from 10a.m. to 6 p.m. (including Labor Day)

 

Daily admission for the splashpad is $2 per person (1-year-old and up); cash or check only. Adults enteringwith a paying child are free as long as they remain on the dry deck. Annualindividual passes are available for $30, and annual family passes are availablefor $60.

 

The Splash Pad willfollow CDC guidelines by limiting the facilities capacity, enhancing sanitationand disinfection and we ask that users practice social distancing from otherfamilies.

 

Old Atlanta Park islocated in southeast Forsyth County. In addition to the Splash Pad, Old AtlantaPark features a playground, two pavilions, a 1-mile walking trail and arecreation center. For more information, click here or call (770)205-4646.
