Fire Department Annual Toy Collection Underway

The Forsyth County Fire Department is seeking the assistance of citizens in helping to make this holiday season special for children in need, through the department’s thirteenth annual Aerial’s House toy collection.

“Forsyth County’s residents and businesses have generously supported our Aerial’s House toy collection over the years and for that we are sincerely appreciative,” Fire Chief Danny Bowman said. “For the Fire Department personnel, it is an honor to be able to play a role in helping brighten the holidays for children in our community by providing the drop-off locations for toys.”

New, unwrapped toys for any age may be dropped off now through Friday, December 11, at Forsyth County fire stations, the Fire Department Headquarters located at 3520 Settingdown Road, or any of the county’s four library branches.

Beginning in December and continuing through December 11, toys for Aerial’s House may also be dropped off under the Christmas tree in the lobby of the Forsyth County Administration Building, located at 110 East Main Street in downtown Cumming.

To receive information regarding the distribution of toys collected through Aerial’s House, call The Place of Forsyth County at (770) 887-1098. For any other questions or to make a large donation, please call Firefighter Jeff Lyons at (678) 513-5899.
