Fall Baseball and Softball Registration Opens July 23
Leagues are offered for children ages 4 through 17

Forsyth County Parks & Recreation will begin accepting registrations for fall baseball and softball on Monday, July 23, and ending Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 5 p.m. Leagues are offered for boys and girls ages 4 (by Sept. 1, 2018) through 17.

“The fall baseball and softball league is a very popular program,” said Parks & Recreation Director Jim Pryor. “It’s a great way for kids to kick off the new school year, make new friends and stay active!”

Registrations will be accepted online at www.forsythco.com/parks and at the county’s three recreation centers located at Central Park (2300 Keith Bridge Road), Fowler Park (4110 Carolene Way) and Old Atlanta Park (810 Nichols Road). The registration fee is $75 for Forsyth County residents and $150 for non-county residents.

Team practices will begin the week of Aug. 27 with games beginning the week of Sept. 10. The season ends in mid-October. Fall baseball and softball is an instructional league and scores or standings will not be recorded. The intent of the fall league is for the participants to have fun and learn the playing rules that will be used in the following spring season.
