Fall Baseball and Softball Registration Open Through August 6

Leagues are offered for children ages 4through 17

 

Forsyth County Parks& Recreation will begin accepting registrations for fall baseball andsoftball on Monday, July 22, with registration closing at 5 p.m. on Tuesday,August 6. Leagues are offered for boys and girls ages 4 through 17.

 

“The fall baseball andsoftball league is a very popular program,” said Parks & RecreationDirector Jim Pryor. “It’s a great way for kids to learn and practice theirskills and make new friends!”

 

Registrations will beaccepted online at parks.forsythco.com and at the county’s three recreationcenters located at Central Park (2300 Keith Bridge Rd.), Fowler Park (4110Carolene Way) and Old Atlanta Park (810 Nichols Rd.). The registration fee is$75 for Forsyth County residents and $150 for non-county residents.

 

Team practices will beginthe first week of September with games beginning in mid-September. The seasonends in late October. Fall baseball and softball is an instructional league andscores or standings will not be recorded. The intent of the fall league is forthe participants to have fun and learn the playing rules that will be used inthe following spring season.
