Digital Tool Now Available to Streamline Liquor Licensing and Improve Resident Visibility

Forsyth County has launched an online Local Alcohol Mapping Project (LAMP) to provide residents and businesses direct access to existing and pending liquor licenses in unincorporated Forsyth County.

The LAMP provides Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping that displays the proximity of liquor licenses to schools, churches and other license holders. The map also displays which County district licenses reside in.

“Forsyth County Business Licensing has been migrating to more online platforms to make it easier for business owners and residents,” said Business License Manager Amy Konrath. “We’re excited about the introduction of LAMP because it provides businesses a simpler way to do business with the County while making the process more transparent to County residents.”
