Appointments are Full: COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments Available for March 31 and April 1

At this time, all appointments for March 31 and April 1 are full.  As additional vaccines become available over the next few weeks, the County anticipates more appointment opportunities for residents. Information on this will be posted on the website and County social media.


COVID-19 vaccines will be administered through District 2 Public Health

 

In partnership with District 2 PublicHealth, Forsyth County will be offering COVID-19 vaccines to eligibleresidents, by appointment only, March 31 and April 1, at the Forsyth ConferenceCenter at Lanier Technical College (3410 Ronald Reagan Blvd.).

 

Eligible residents can clickhere to request anappointment through the Georgia Department of Public Health’s registrationsystem. Please note, the registration tool offers multiple locations throughoutthe state where vaccines are available. Forsyth County residents seeking anappointment are encouraged to select the Forsyth Conference Center at LanierTechnical College location. Appointments can also be made by calling 1-888-426-5073.

 

The vaccination events are made possibleby a FEMA grant, approved by the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners duringtheir March 4 meeting.

 

“We are pleased to have received grantfunding to provide more vaccination appointments for residents,” said ForsythCounty EMA Director Chris Grimes. “The grant, which is a 100% match from FEMA,allows us to acquire additional equipment needed, to hire additional medicalstaff, rent the space needed for the event and to provide public outreach.”

 

The FEMA grant also allows ForsythCounty’s Public Transportation Department the ability to provide a ride to andfrom the vaccination site for County residents in need of transportation.Residents are eligible for two total round trips at no cost.
