Community Input Sought on Future Denmark Park and Other Park Renovation Projects
Forsyth County Parks and Recreation will host three community input meetings for resident feedback on plans for the future Denmark Park as well as renovation projects planned for Bennett Park (5930 Burruss Mill Rd.) and Sharon Springs Park (1950 Sharon Rd.). 

“We encourage all residents to attend the meetings to engage in the park design process at Denmark Park and to provide their feedback on future renovation projects at Bennett Park and Sharon Springs Park,” said Director of Parks & Recreation Director Jim Pryor. 

Denmark Park Community Input Meeting - A community input meeting will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, at Midway Park Community Building (5100 Post Rd.) Attendees will be able to view facility and amenity ideas for Denmark Park, a new park slated to open in south Forsyth on Mullinax Rd. The format of the meeting will be drop-in style.

The Denmark Park master plan design is being funded by SPLOST VIII and Impact Fees.

Bennett Park Community Input Meeting - A community input meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Coal Mountain Park Community Building (3560 Settingdown Rd.) for attendees to provide input on the park’s master plan update. The format of the meeting will be presentation style. 

The Bennett Park master plan update is being funded by SPOST VIII. 

Sharon Springs Park Community Input Meeting - A community input meeting will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Sharon Springs Park Community Building for attendees to provide input on the park’s master plan update. The format of the meeting will be drop-in style. 

The Sharon Springs Park master plan update is being funded by SPOST VIII.
