The July 7, 6:30 p.m. Forsyth County Zoning Board of Appeals Work Session and 7:00 p.m. Regular Meeting/ Public Hearing shall be both in person and via teleconference pursuant to O.C.G.A. 50-14-1(g). The public notice listing the location and agenda for the Work Session is here, and public notice and agenda for the Regular Meeting/Public Hearing public hearing is here.

The public may physically attend these meetings. However due to COVID 19 concerns, remote viewing and participation is encouraged. Viewers may watch the Regular Meeting/Public Hearing on the County’s website:, as well as TV Forsyth, Comcast channel 23 and AT&T channel 99.  Both the Work Session and Regular Meeting/Public Hearing may be viewed on the Zoom app. Click here to access the Zoom link for remote watching. Community invited to attend family-friendly and pet-friendly event The Forsyth County Animal Shelter is hosting their second Spring Fling adoption event this Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Forsyth County Animal Shelter. The event will offer family-friendly and pet-friendly activities including a bounce house, water balloon toss, dog agility course, free food and more. For those bringing pets, microchipping will be available for $15 to the first 20 pet owners and for $25 for all others. Meet Some of the Animals Available for Adoption at the Forsyth County Animal Shelter
There’s no place like home for the holidays, and this season you can give one of the cats or dogs at the Forsyth County Animal Shelter his or her very own forever home. Watch the video linked below to see just a few of the cats and dogs available for adoption. The shelter is located just off of GA 400 at 4065 County Way in northern Forsyth County.
