Voting Options for May 19 General Primary & Nonpartisan General Election
Forsyth County registered voters have three options for casting their ballot for the May 19, 2026, General Primary & Nonpartisan General Election. Voters can find full details about the election, sample ballots and the voting options by visiting www.forsythco.com/vote.
Final Week of Advance Voting
All Forsyth County registered voters may take advantage of the last week of Advance Voting in person regardless of where they are assigned to vote on Election Day.
Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15:
- Voter Registrations & Elections Office (1201 Sawnee Drive)
- Hampton Park Library (5345 Settingdown Road)
- Midway Park Community Building (5100 Post Road)
- Sharon Springs Park Community Building (1950 Sharon Rd)
Advance Voting Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Forsyth County residents can view a digital map displaying the current estimated wait time for Advance Voting by visiting www.forsythco.com/vote.
Election Day Voting in Person
On Election Day, Tuesday, May 19, voters go to their assigned Election Day polling place to cast a ballot. All Election Day polling places will be open for voting on Tuesday, May 19, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Note: There is no voting at any location on the Saturday, Sunday or Monday prior to any election.
Some precinct boundaries and polling places have changed. Visit www.mvp.sos.ga.gov to verify your assigned Election Day polling place.
- Matt Schoolhouse Community Building (5710 Namon Wallce Road) is a new polling location. If you were assigned to First Baptist Church or Hope Fellowship in 2025, your polling location may have changed to Matt Schoolhouse Community Building. Verify your assigned Election Day polling place at http://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov prior to going to the polls.
- If you were assigned to Sharon Forks Library in 2025, you are now assigned to Sharon Springs Park Community Building (1950 Sharon Road).
- If you were assigned to the Atlanta Cricket Fields in 2025, you are now assigned to Bennett Park Community Building (6050 Burruss Mill Road).

Absentee Voting by Mail
The last day to submit an absentee ballot application to the Voter Registrations & Elections Office for this election was Friday, May 8.
Voted absentee ballots can be returned as soon as they are voted. Voted absentee ballots must be received by the Voter Registrations & Elections Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. The postmark date does NOT count.
