UPDATE: Trunk or Treat Safety Event Rescheduled for October 25 at Cumming Fairgrounds

UPDATE: Due to weather concerns, the Trunk or Treat event is rescheduled for Friday, Oct. 25, from 6-9 p.m. at the Cumming Fairgrounds. 


Annual Halloween safety event hosted byForsyth County public safety

 

Localfamilies are invited to the county’s annual Trunk or Treat Safety Event. Thefamily-friendly event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, atthe Cumming Fairgrounds (235 Castleberry Road). 

 

“Trunk or Treat is a funevent and is also an opportunity to share important safety informationsurrounding Halloween activities,” saidFire Chief Barry Head. “The fire department looks forward to Trunk or Treatevery year and takes a great deal of pride in the safety education that isprovided to the community.”

 

Thepurpose of the event is for children to have fun while learning about Halloweensafety including costume safety, pedestrian safety, stranger danger,stop-drop-roll demonstrations and more. Children are encouraged to wear theirHalloween costumes to Trunk or Treat and bagged candy donations are encouraged.
