Supporting Board of Commissioners Meeting Documents Now Available Online

Documents presented during commission meetings available for public viewing on-demand

Agendas and supporting documents presented during Forsyth County Board of Commissioners meetings and work sessions are now available for viewing and downloading via the Meetings tab on the County’s website, forsythco.com.

“Supporting documents such as maps, proposals or presentations are often displayed during commission meetings in conjunction with agenda items,” said Forsyth County Assistant County Manager Brandon Kenney. “Now, anyone can easily access these supporting documents to follow along during the meeting or any time after a meeting.”

Meeting agendas and supporting documents are made available online the day of regular session meetings or work sessions.

“We are pleased to be adding another resource to have a transparent government,” said County Manager Kevin Tanner.

The Board of Commissioners meets in regular session twice a month, on the first and third Thursdays. The meetings convene at 5 p.m. and are held in the Commissioners Meeting Room (Suite 220) on the second floor of the County Administration Building (110 East Main St.). The commission also holds a work session twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesdays. A full annual schedule of all commission meetings can be found by clicking here.

The public is invited to attend Board of Commissioners meetings and work sessions in-person or online. Meetings are streamed live via TVForsyth (AT&T ch. 99, Comcast ch. 23 and online at forsythco.com). Meeting video replays are also available on-demand online.
