Register to Vote by April 26 for the Upcoming General Primary and NonPartisan General Election

The voter registration deadline for the May 24 GeneralPrimary and NonPartisan General Election is Tuesday, April 26. Forsyth Countyresidents wishing to register to vote or to change their name and/or address onthe voter registration list may now do so online or in person at the ForsythCounty Voter Registrations and Elections Office, located in the CountyAdministration Building at 110 E. Main Street (Suite 200) in Cumming. Officehours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  You may also register to vote at any countypublic library.

To use Georgia’s online voter registration system you musthave a valid Georgia driver’s license or identification card issued by theGeorgia Department of Driver’s Services (DDS) with signature on file withDDS.  If you do not have a valid driver’s license or identification card,the link will allow you to manually submit a paper registration.  Click here to use the online voter registration system.

To be eligible to vote in the May 24 General Primary andNonPartisan General Election, a Voter Registration Application must becompletely filled out and either USPS postmarked or otherwise delivered to theForsyth County Voter Registrations and Elections Office no later than the closeof business (4:30 p.m.) on Tuesday, April 26. If submitting your applicationusing the online voter registration system, your application must be submittedby 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday night, April 26.  Any application not meetingthis deadline will not be processed until after the possible July 26, 2016General Primary Runoff.
