June 9 Election Day Information

Tuesday, June 9, isElection Day for the General Primary, Nonpartisan General Election andPresidential Preference Primary. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7p.m. and Forsyth County registered voters must go to their designated pollingplace to cast a vote.

In light of the pandemic, Poll Workers will be following theCounty, state and federal recommended guidelines at polling locations. Voterswill be instructed to maintain a safe distance throughout the voting process tohelp ensure the health and safety of the voters and the poll workers. In orderto implement these changes, voting equipment numbers have been reduced.Additionally, voting equipment and other items will be sanitized routinely. Votersare asked to anticipate increased wait times and lines on Election Day. Due tothe length of the ballot, voters are encouraged to review a sample ballot priorto going to the polls to vote and may do so by clicking here.
