File by April 1 for 2020 Homestead Exemption/Age 65 School Tax Homestead
In Forsyth County, if you own a property, reside on that propertyand are a legal resident of the county, all as of Jan. 1 of the tax year,you may qualify for homestead exemption.
You may apply for exemptions year-round, however, you must applyby Wednesday, April 1 to receive the benefits for 2020. For more information orquestions, call the Tax Assessors Office at (770) 781-2106.
