It’s not too early to begin making your spring break plans. Forsyth County Parks and Recreation is offering partial and full-week spring break camps this April. The programs vary in location and theme, and are offered for children ages 4 through 15.   Just some of the options for spring break camp include an art camp at Old Atlanta Park, fun and games camp at Fowler Park and a science camp at Sawnee Mountain Preserve. Parks and Recreation Offers Fitness Challenge this Winter
Looking for a way to get fit or stay fit this winter? If so, consider taking part in Forsyth County Parks and Recreation’s 1-month Get Fit Forsyth program. The program is open to ages 18 and up, and participants will receive a 1-month FitPlus pass to Forsyth County’s recreation centers as well as weekly challenges and encouragement. Registration is underway now at the recreation centers, continuing through January 19. Santa Will Be Calling Local Children Again this Year

Forsyth County Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce their annual Santa’s Calling program. Santa has set aside two special evenings to call children ages 3 through 10 to listen to their personal Christmas wishes. The phone calls will take place on Tuesday, December 8 and Wednesday, December 9 between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. Santa is very busy during this time of year. Winter Basketball Registration Underway

Registration is now underway for Forsyth County Parks and Recreation’s 2015-16 Winter Basketball League for boys and girls ages 9-14. Sign-ups will continue through Friday, Oct. 23.   Early registration is encouraged as space is limited. Registrations will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the county’s three recreation centers, located at Central Park, Fowler Park and Old Atlanta Park.
