On Thursday, April 13, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will consider transmittal of the draft Forsyth County Comprehensive Plan 2017-2037 for regional and state review. The next step in Forsyth County’s Comprehensive Plan update process, Foster Forsyth, is a public hearing on Tuesday, September 27. The public will have an opportunity to weigh in on the draft Comprehensive Plan on September 27, when the Planning Commission will host the first public hearing on the draft plan. On August 29 and 31, Foster Forsyth held two open houses to debut the draft plan document, giving community members an opportunity to review highlights from the draft plan, discuss aspects with planning team members and offer feedback to refine it.
