Millage Rates
Earlier this year, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners adopted the millage rates that will fund a major portion of the county’s 2016 General Fund budget, the Fire District, and Bonds. The board voted to adopt the rollback Maintenance and Operations millage rate of 4.642 mills; maintain the Fire millage rate at 1.975 mills; and adopt the Bond rate at 1.419 mills (an increase of 0.55 mills to reflect the debt service requirements for the Forsyth County Transportation Bond approved by county voters in November 2014).
