Become a Poll Worker

We are looking for individuals to work at the polls in the upcoming election cycle. 

Poll Worker Qualifications:
  • be at least 16 years of age
  • be a resident of Forsyth County
  • be able to read, write and speak the English language
  • be a judicious, intelligent and upright citizen of the United States of America
  • not have been convicted of a felony (unless voting rights have been restored)
  • not be a candidate or relative of a candidate on the ballot in the precinct you are assigned to
  • be able to attend mandatory Poll Worker training

Our Mission

The mission of the Voter Registrations and Elections Department is to enable all eligible citizens of Forsyth County to exercise their right to register and vote under the Constitution of the United States; to provide for the security and integrity of all elections in accordance with the Georgia Election Code and State Election Board Rules; to encourage voter participation; to continue providing excellent customer service to voters, candidates and the media; and to maintain public confidence through education of the voting process and laws governing elections.
