Campaign Finance Reporting

Campaign Finance Reporting

All local candidates and elected officials are required to file reports pertaining to their personal and campaign finances directly with the Forsyth County Voter Registrations & Elections Office. All state office holders must file directly with the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission (formerly known as the State Ethics Commission). All filings are public record. Campaign finance filings submitted by elected officials/candidates to the Forsyth County Voter Registrations & Elections Office may be viewed at forsythcountyga.easyvotecampaignfinance.com/home

There are several different required filings which are subject to filing schedules, deadlines, grace periods and fines per the Commission. Filings begin prior to the acceptance of campaign monies and continue until certain conditions are met and final reports are filed.

Refer to the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission for filing and training schedules and to get answers to any questions a candidate or elected official may have about the required filings.
