Citizens' Fire Academy

Every year, the Fire Department invites residents interested in learning what it takes to be a firefighter to sign up for a program designed to show all that it takes to become a firefighter.

Safety Poster Contest

Every year, the Fire Department invites local third grade students to show off their creativity by making a safety poster illustrating one of three chosen safety topics of that year.

Junior Fire Academy

Each summer, the fire department invites rising seventh and eighth grade students interested in learning what it takes to be a firefighter to sign up for a free week long daytime summer camp program.

Trunk or Treat Event

Every year, the Fire Department brings fun and fire safety together during a Halloween Trunk or Treat event. This is a great event for the whole community to learn about things like costume safety, pedestrian safety and stranger danger.
