Project funded by Parks, Recreation and Green Space Bond and Impact Fees Northeast Forsyth County is now home to a new 109-acre park, for which ground was broken last spring. The new Lanierland Park, located at 6115 Jot-Em-Down Road, was funded by the Parks, Recreation and Green Space Bond approved by voters in 2008 and by Impact Fees. Phase I of the park includes four rectangular synthetic turf fields, four picnic pavilions, a playground, restroom and concession facilities, and parking. Park construction funded by Parks, Recreation and Green Space Bond and by Impact Fees   Northeast Forsyth County will be home to a new 109-acre park, for which ground was broken Friday, March 18.
