Waste Haulers

Forsyth County government does not provide curbside trash pickup. The county does operate three drop-off convenience centers for residents who do not wish to contract with a private hauler. If you live within the Cumming city limits contact the city of Cumming at (770) 781-2019 to inquire about services provided. For residents outside of Cumming, there are a number of private waste haulers that provide curbside waste and recycling services for a nominal fee (see list inked below). Please note the county does not endorse any provider.

Before choosing a hauling company, it may be helpful to note a list of questions to determine if one meets your needs more than another. Some points to consider are:

  • Do they collect bulky items?
  • Do they collect yard waste?
  • Do they offer curbside recycling?
  • What day of the week do they pick up?
  • Does your HOA require a specific hauler?
