A Special Event Permit is required for more than three participants who wish to
use public property or public roads for the purposes of holding a race, parade,
assembly, or other similar activity.
If you are interested in obtaining a Special Event Permit, please complete
the application and provide a traffic control plan, course map, and the release and waiver form. Return these documents to the
Office of the County Manager at 110 East Main Street, Suite 210, Cumming, GA
30040 or via email: firstname.lastname@example.org. For road race events, applications must be received six months prior to your event or they will not be accepted. For all other special event permit requests, applications must be received 30 days in advance. If your event involves the use of a Parks and Recreation facility, please review the

For your convenience, also included is a current schedule of events that have
been permitted by the county. This list provides the date, start time and start
location of the permitted event.
