Register to Vote by October 11 for the November 8 General Election and Special Elections
The voter registration deadline for the Nov. 8 General Election and Special Elections is Tuesday, Oct. 11. Forsyth County residents wishing to register to vote or to change their name and/or address on the voter registration list may do so online by visiting the Georgia Secretary of State’s Online Voter Registration System before 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 11 (you must have a valid GA driver's license or ID number) at registertovote.sos.ga.gov. You may also submit a registration/change by mail. A completed and signed Voter Registration Application must be postmarked on or before Oct. 11 in order to meet the deadline. Or you may come in person to the Voter Registrations and Elections office in the Forsyth County Administration Building (110 E. Main Street, Suite 200 in Cumming). Voter Registrations and Elections’ office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to verify their voter registration record is correct as soon as possible at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov.
